About The Mikvah
Somerton Philadelphia community Mikvah complex, Mayim Chaim, is uniquely designed to house Women’s Mikvah Fradel, Men’s Mikvah David, and a Keilim Mikvah.
The Mikvah meets the highest halachic standards and serves the extensive communities of Somerton, Huntingdon Valley, Bucks County, and surrounding areas. The facility offers the best in comfort, hygiene, aesthetics, and privacy. The building complex is named Mayim Chaim - Living Waters to symbolize life, family purity, and Torah.
Women’s Mikvah Fradel hosts a comfortable waiting area, three luxurious preparation rooms (one of which is equipped for individuals with disabilities), and a uniquely designed pool room. The facility is designed to offer women the opportunity for a deeply moving, spiritual immersion. A selection of individual use products is provided to create a spa-like experience. Women’s Mikvah Fradel is dedicated by the Berger family of London in loving memory of Fradel Bat Yaakov.
Men’s Mikvah David includes a conveniently designed preparation space, three shower cabins, and a pool. The facility is immaculately maintained for the convenience and safety of the visitors. Men’s Mikvah David is dedicated by the Tamarkin family of Philadelphia in merit of their children.
Keilim Mikvah pool is conveniently located in the middle of the complex which allows for easy access. The Keilim Mikvah is dedicated by Rabbi and Rebbetzin Chaim Shulem Isaacson and Rabbi Shloime and Rivky Isaacson in memory of their late grand and great grandparents.
The beautiful paintings overlooking the Mikvaos are by Michael Muchnick. Local community member Batel Shlain did the Mikvah interior design, decoration and artwork.
