CBS Community Eruv

There is an eruv surrounding the entire community, allowing people to carry, push carriages or wheelchairs, and play with toys on Shabbos. Normally, it is prohibited to carry anything outside of the home on Shabbos but the eruv which is a string that is strung around the community and connected to poles encloses the area and it becomes permissible to carry. The community is fortunate that the eruv was sponsored by Mr. & Mrs. Gary and Margaret Grayfer in honor of their son, Joshua's, bar mitzvah.

The eruv extends from Bustleton and Byberry to Red Lion and Veree. It continues to Pine Rd. and Red Lion Rd. to the railroad tracks on Pine Rd. to Byberry Rd.
